Pet insurance companies usually determine how much to reimburse for a claim in one of two ways. Some plans use what is known as a benefit schedule while others use the actual veterinary bill to determine reimbursement.

Embrace Pet Insurance founder Laura Bennett
In the US, more money is spent each year on cats and dogs than on babies. My guest is Laura Bennett, the co-founder of Embrace Pet Insurance, a company that is partnering with Lloyds of London to offer health insurance for pets.
